The Character

HISTORY

.  Her Parents   . Rana's mother, Muxi, was born and raised in a nomadic keeper's tribe. She studied herbalism through her mother much like her other siblings and was taught to hunt from a young age. Occasionally, their tribe would stop in the city-states to have their traders go in to sell or trade. Rarely, Muxi had the chance to go into the cities, but when she did she was always left in awe with how different and spectacular it seemed to be. She often wanted to step foot and experience city life yet never had the opportunity until she stumbled upon an adventurer named M'sovi within the tall walls of Ul'dah.M'sovi is an experienced thaumaturge who traveled around with close friends who took on the adventurer profession much like he did. The party had found themselves stopping at Ul'dah for the night. That fateful evening, he encountered Muxi for the first time. She had found herself in trouble with some locals, prompting him to come to her aid. After an exchange of thanks, M'sovi learned that Muxi was simply wandering while her tribe was busy doing business. She took the chance to request a tour around the city providing the opportunity for the two to learn about each other more. While amazed by the city, Muxi was finding a fascination with the tour guide himself. One may even say it was love at first sight.There was so much to see and learn beyond the tribal life. She was stuck living a life that seemed dull and mundane while M'sovi was out exploring with so many stories to tell. She wanted part of that life and this to was determined to go after it. The next morning Muxi snuck away while her tribe was preparing to depart finding M'sovi requesting if she could join his party. With no objection, the party agrees and she parted with her family to live a life full of adventure.Throughout their journey, the pair bonded with each other and had their first child, Rana. They continued to travel with their child to see the world together as a family while taking on work that was far less dangerous for the sake of their child.

PERSONALITY

Rana is an outward individual and enjoys interacting with others. The upbeat personality she inherited from her father shines through when spoken to, especially around the people she's close to. She'll always try to brighten up a room if things seem too gloomy or talk about anything and everything.She's gotten her loving, caring, and motherly nature from her mother and would go out of her way to help everyone and anyone. She has a desire to help people when they are down and is often seen doing charity work during her free time. The love she has for others is hard to miss.

.  Biography   . Rana lived a nomadic life with her parents. She had never lived or stayed in one place for so long and had come to be familiar with many different parts of the world learning different cultures, languages, and history from all over. Her parents had made a point to teach her all that they knew from hunting, herbalism, and magic to be certain she had the skills to survive on her own should she ever need them.
It wasn't until her thirteenth summer her life changed. A hunt that took a turn for the worse. The party had gone to take on a hunt while Rana and Muxi who was pregnant at the time stayed behind as usual. All was going well until things had gone south. M'sovi had noticed the monsters they were hunting weren't behaving normally. They were strangely stronger than usual and seemed to not yield to any attempt to pacify them. M'sovi called to the party to retreat. The party were all terribly wounded as they attempted to escape with M'sovi worst off than the rest.
They returned to the camp worse for ware. Rana and her mother did what they could to patch them up. Regretfully, even with medical intervention, M'sovi did not make it. It was after the loss of her father was when Muxi and Rana settled in Ul'dah purchasing a small cottage. Rana had taken this time to join the alchemist guild to further her knowledge beyond what her mother had taught her. Muxi joined the guild as well as a full-time job to raise both her children.
The years went on since then and not much has changed since. Rana has delved deeper into her profession and seeks further knowledge to create medicine to help those who need it most. The last thing she wishes to see is someone take their last breath once more.

The Player

.  HELLO!   . My name is Aries and I love to draw, RP, and play games. RP has always been a fun hobby of mine. I love to create in-depth stories with others. Exploring my character with others and seeing their growth is something I love to do.

I am pretty open to any genre. I'll RP almost anything. If you're unsure about something, then you're more than welcome to ask about it! I do love romance, but there is one thing I must put out there. I am over the age of 21 and would prefer characters/roleplayers to be so as well. Please also tell me if you're interested in romance. We can talk about it and see if we can make it work.
